Sweat equity

I’m not sure where I first heard about this company, maybe on Donny Deutsch? There are two moms who met at the gym and discovered their kids went to the same preschools and were friends. Since their first product launch in April 2003, the two have been working out of their basements and have sold over 100,000 art kits for kids called Made by Hands. The art kits can be purchased online or at retailers in most states. You know why I like this story? They are doing this business using sweat equity and not a lot of money. Too many of these new businesses these days are funded by venture capitalists and angel investors. These two moms are on their own and doing a fine job. Looks like hours of fun are in store for my daughters!
