I love it when moms start businesses. They tend to have great insight, at least when it comes to kid products. There’s a lady in Cave Creek, AZ who developed a product called the Medibag in 2006. It’s a first aid kit for kids. She started the company out of her kitchen and now the product is found in stores like Toys R Us, Target, and Bed Bath and Beyond. She got the idea when her son got stung by a bee and he started crying when she took out her first aid kit. Guess that can be pretty intimidating for a kid. So she designed a fun bag and loaded it with all sorts of fun items like cool crayon bandaids and bright colored emergency stickers. They also have a Medibag for pets. Everything is made in the USA. I see on her website she has a link for you to tell Oprah about her invention. Must be trying to be one of her favorite things.
